As ABS-CBN and GMA-7 are sadly crap-dubbing these Korean series and I'm so NOT watching them -- I thought about last year's installment which was While You Were Sleeping and this year's What's Wrong With Secretary Kim. Since it's Thursday I just felt like doing a throwback of two series that I ended up enjoying while "traveling to space for a whole year" last year and "staying in Paris" this year. While You Were Sleeping I remembered how I couldn't watch this show without thinking that it's a darker and edgier sequel to Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Season Tsuu. Both Maaya Uchida and her Korean doppelganger Suzy Bae had short hair last 2017! Yup, I still couldn't help but laugh at it even if there are obvious physical differences like the height. Images taken from Drama Beans Yes it's the finale and I was prepared for a bad ending. I still couldn't forget I wanted to smash my LCD screen with my hand when I saw Suzy Bae's character die in Gu Family Book . The scene of Hong Joo in the hospital had me already scared since my first Korean TV series to watch was Autumn in My Heart which I may consider rewatching anytime soon. Anyway, here's how the finale goes and I'm pretty mixed about it.  The trial really has Woo Tak testifying which further helps create the lead to condemn Yo-BUMMER as a dirty lawyer. This is also where it's revealed by Chief Choi that Yo-BUMMER is planning to flee South Korea soon. I'd assume that maybe, just maybe Yo-BUMMER is planning to flee to North Korea. Anyway, things get pretty intense here.  Yup, I can feel through Hong Joo's tears. Pictures taken from Drama Beans ... Yes, we're going to have the finale tomorrow and it's going to be intense. Last week's episode was pretty intense which was really thrilling. I even assumed Hong Joo the protagonist would die. But not the way things unfolded. Jae Chan goes and rescues Hong Joo. The IV poison would kill anyone in five minutes but there was a one minute grace. Yes, Hong Joo is saved at the very last minute which puzzles me. I'm no medical expert so I don't know how to explain this one. But I'm glad Hong Joo's saved then we do have another scene that makes me think how the main villain knows how to play his cards. I really find it amazing how Yo-BUMMER inflicted harm to himself with some dangerous drug. He makes up another convincing story to hide the truth. Images taken from Drama Beans Only one more week and we're going to get a suspenseful conclusion. Things don't look so good in this episode nearing the climax this Wednesday to Thursday. I feel like preparing for the worse is always a good move when watching K-Drama. We see more of what Yo-BUMMER has done with his crooked practices. It caused Dae Gu's father to go to jail and he was innocent. This is a very dark case involving an intravenous serial killing. I'd also be scared if I were in Hong Joo's place. This is a really dangerous thing and yes, being a reporter is no walk in the park. Woo Tak reveals some important information that leads to the killer. This is pretty much where the suspense kicks in and anything bad could happen at anytime. Yes, Yo BUMMER gets a visit from the real killer who is a woman. Images taken from Drama Beans . Episodes 25-26 is starting to get really intense. There's a murder mystery going on and some memories of the past coming back towards Jae Chan and Hong Joo. And there's some twist from the past and the present. We see both the leading guy and the leading lady at the beach. I think having ESP does bring certain people together huh? I even want to think of this is as a psychic rapport developed between the two. The scene at the beach developed them as a couple. I'm glad that Hong Joo easily broke off from Yo BUMMER otherwise she would have had her predicament and actual suicide. We see a new scene of Chief Choi and Hyang Mi run into Yo BUMMER. Yes, there's Yo BUMMER again with his devilish schemes. He offers them to transfer to his law firm but for what reason? I suspect that he's trying to protect whatever dirty secrets he's had as a money hungry lawyer. I suspect that somehow Yo BUMMER may be involved in several c...

This episode really starts to teach me some basic understanding of criminal law and loopholes. Although I'm NOT a lawyer myself but at least, I find this episode fascinating. I thought about this murder mystery and the type of sleaze Yo BUMMER is in this episode.  We have a book launching gone wrong. Professor Moon gets into a fight with his assistant who he uses and abuses to no end. This leads to a severe fight between them. Is it me or is Professor Moon really an idiot? The victim already warned Professor Moon of getting the whole conversation recorded yet the latter is SO STUPID to push through with it anyway. Professor Moon is later seen asking help from the series' villain Yo BUMMER. I'm pretty interested with the relationship of Hong Joo and Jae Chan. It's possible we have a subtle Jae Chan/Yoo Tak and Hong Joo love triangle going on. Earlier, both Yoo Tak and Jae Chan themselves had a conversation on two possible outcomes. Once again, thanks to Drama Beans for these wonderful pictures. This is one of the more intense episodes and Hong Joo's bloodied hands show it. I really felt sorry for her in this episode as she tries to change the future but it could get worse. Jae Chan's gets shot by some crazy old man who happens to be the father of the deceased archer. I guess the old man can't accept his daughter died by accident. I do have a feeling perhaps Yo BUMMER is also involved in what happened though I could be wrong. This scene is pretty intense. The mother comforts her grieving daughter concerning the issue. It's too early to get rid of Jae Chan so by the power of the writer's pen - he gets successful treatment after four hours. Meanwhile, Yo-BUMMER acts all "nice and clean" again even if he's a dirty lawyer. I thought this scene was pretty intense as ever. There's a real crime scene show here that I wish I could understand at just the first v...
