The Badly Written Bad Ending Of "Oh My Ladylord" VS. The Well-Written Bad Ending For "Kill It"

Image
It's already expected that Bi Soo will die after 49 days, right? Yet, there was some teaser that he'd die after 49 years. WTF man... I thought about how badly written or how you're hopeful for a good ending the finale then poof... Bi Soo disappears as scheduled. Was Joo Jin Kook trolling the audiences with his script? Maybe yes, maybe no. But I find it distasteful to give a glimpse of hope that Bi Soo would live but no - we were trolled and then he finally DISAPPEARED. The plot twist was that the "angel" who saved Bi Soo was his biological father. Yup, Bi Soo's father died before he was born. His mother married his stepfather. Then we see his mother die. It turns out that Bi Soo was given extra time to at least take care of his mother before she'd pass away from cancer. I'm really finding the whole thing weird. I also find the whole thing haphazardly written. Not to mention - I wonder are the producers and directors of this show simply using Jin A Nana...

My Thoughts On 'Kill It' After I Finished Watching It

Image
Kill It is a 12 episode (or 24 if you cut it down by half-hour episodes) of a crime thriller. I can't say it's got everything I want in a show but almost everything anyway. Good plot and content? Check! Beautiful actress? Check! Though the second one is just a bonus considering that some of my favorite K-Dramas don't have an attractive actress such as  Still 17. I've finished the show for the worth of 12 episodes at one hour each and here are my thoughts. I would say that for a show that's not for children (I heard it's really rated 17+) - I'm glad we don't have torture scenes. Personally, I can handle the gore in movies like  Naked Weapon  (which for me was sub-par) or  Dragon Squad  (which thankfully didn't put the ear mutilation part on close) but I just don't like extremely focused torture scenes such as mutilation and flaying. Why do you think I haven't reviewed  Killers  here?   The amount of blood here is tolerable like in the  Dar...

Currently Watching 'Kill It' (2019)

Watching Ang Probinsyano or The Provincial ? Well, no thanks! There's something about the digital age when there are streaming sites available such as Kiss Asian. Hopefully, Kill It will be on Netflix which would be cool - it's because some fansubs are just pretty stupid! I just remembered when I made a facial comparison between Korean actress Jin A Nana (also known as Im Jin Ah) to Filipino actress Shaina Magdayao . Just looking at Shaina as Roxanne Opena in Ang Probinsyano is laughable as Coconuts Martin trying to become the late Fernando Poe Jr.'s character. Well, in Kill It -  you might as well kill it. You can consider Nana's character Do Hyun-Jin to be rather badass. Like she may be beautiful to look at but she's mighty dangerous to hold. TBH, I'd be mighty insane if I would try to molest her. One wrong move and I could be sent to the Intensive Care Unit. I have to admit that while she can be a stupid reason to watch the show. However, her acting wil...
