  I could think about watching Choi Jin Hyuk in two realistic legal dramas. Yes, I'm NOT going to talk about Tunnel here which was a sci-fi one. Instead, it would be the two series which portrayed him as a lawyer in two different situations. One was the heroic prosecutor lawyer in Pride and Prejudice while the other was anti-hero lawyer in Justice . Both presents a different side of a coin and presented him as a lawyer. Pride and Prejudice was focused on trying to mix prosecution and romantic stories - something similar to Suspicious Partner a few years later. The bickering couple focuses on Jin Hyuk's role alongside Bae Jin Hee as Goo Dong Chi and Han Yeol Moo. Yeol Moo is the on/off love interest of Dong Chi. Yeol Moo is wondering if her brother ever survived the crime that happened in the past. Dong Chi had a traumatic incident that made him give up medical school in favor of becoming a state prosecutor instead. The interactions had occasional comedy while they dug through c...

Well, for some people, the title Pride and Prejudice is a reference to Jane Austen's novel from the 1800s. No, it's not even a direct adaptation or remake or whatever. The novel did make a cameo in early episodes but it's hardly a novel of three daughters. Rather, it's about lawyers and prosecutors who are dealing with two issues that get along in their work - hence the title! Director Kim Jin-Min and writer Lee Hyun Joo try their best to balance serious themes with occasional comedy (hence the first episode) in contrast to the dark world of Orion Cinema Network. Yup, Choi Jin Hyuk appears as prosecutor who runs into his on/off love interest played by Baek Jin Hee. Jin Hee is rather plain-looking but she delivers when she needs too. Also, there are some mysteries from the time the main characters Dong Chi and Yul Moo were children. There's some gray morality when Mr. Moon is hard to classify. After watching a series of serious prosecution K-Drama where they're dark and heavy such as Voice , Kill It , Justice , and The Lies Within which are well OCN dramas. Now, it's time to travel back in time back to 2014 to watch some K-Dramas that might catch my interest. As said, there will be a time that I'll stick to older entries until I want to see newer entries at my own pace. Speaking of which, 2014 was also the time when I thought about making another u-turn from Japanese entertainment - ironic that I used to prefer it over to Korean entertainment! So, in order to get to know Korean better - I need to watch some old school stuff for the meantime .
