Just Finished Watching "Lawless Lawyer"

Well, if you're not too surprised that I'm no longer posting Kamen Rider updates - I'm already thinking of already even putting Toku on a lower priority. Now, I decided to finish watching Lawless Lawyer ASAP to which I couldn't put it down because of how it manages to craft itself. I was thinking of the romance/legal thriller genre. I was thinking about how the cast that lacks in looks makes up for their ability to carry it. Lee Jun Gi (My Girl) makes it into coupling with Seo Yea Ji (It's Okay Not to Be Okay) to carry out the thriller that focuses more on the case than the romance.  I could remember Choi Min Soo starring in Pride and Prejudice alongside Choi Jin Hyuk and Baek Jin Hee (who freaking looks like Mika Katsumura). The first time I saw him - he was that Large Ham of a Jerk with a Heart of Gold. Here, he's a Large Ham ruthless gangster of a mayor. It was fun to see how this villain was involved with several corruption charges, he's obviously sleazy

Now Watching "Lawless Lawyer"

I could remember a couple of love story x legal thriller Korean dramas I've watched. These series were Kill It , Justice , Pride and Prejudice , Suspicious Partner , and now this one called Lawless Lawyer which was shown in South Korea in 2018. Who says a love story can't take different twists? I couldn't decide between a Korean legal drama without a romance vs. one with a romance. I decided to pick this one instead of trying to watch The Good Detective . The story involves thinking outside the box and that some of your worst enemies may not be what they seem. The story involves Atty. Bong Sang Pil (Lee Joon Gi) is in an awkward relationship with a hot-blooded prosecutor Ha Jae Yi (Seo Ye Ji). Jae Yi gets suspended for punching a corrupt judge and admires Judge Cha Moon Sook (Lee Hye Hyong) who looks incorruptible. Some tragedies manage to bring them together. Sang Pil knows something that Jae Yi doesn't. I think Jae Yi's toughness may remind a Toku fan of Tsurihi

When I Watched "Love Story In Harvard" On GMA-7 For The Right And Wrong Reasons

I was thinking about the time Love Story in Harvard aired in the Philippines from August 16, 2006 to October 12, 2006. I can no longer my stupid closet desire back in college then that I  wanted to marry Kim Tae Hee for my wife even if she was five years my senior . I wasn't really big into Korean stuff but I decided to watch it because in my mind - Kim Tae Hee is hot and I must watch it. It could be compared to when Anakin Skywalker when he said that being around Padme was intoxicating in Attack of the Clones . I could imagine myself wanting to marry her. Though, the schedule of the show was rather late and there was school the next day - so I really, REALLY had to sacrifice not watching it.  In my mind, I totally already (and secretly) wanted to marry Tae Hee one way or another. This was a weird incident of fanboyism that was triggered by a love for Korean food. I didn't expect myself to get stuck into the whole fad. Now, the show is a vague memory to me except my crush on Ta

Kamen Rider Saber Was a Rollercoaster Ride IMHO

Sorry for the delay. Some things have happened (which is rather personal) so I'm really going to do my post for Kamen Rider Saber . I can't be too sure if I'm excited for Kamen Rider Revice (which was featured in the special episode after the finale) not ever since one of its cast members did the blackface scandal. Yes, that whole picture of Subaru Kimura and his racist blackface incident is there. Well, now it's time to think about how I had a rollercoaster ride with Saber .  I nearly dropped the show because of all the initial flak it got. I confess that the whole rushing to sell Bandai merchandise was really there. It was all, "Must sell toys! Must sell toys!" It's important to innovate but lousy execution can be a problem. It's like trying to introduce too many new dishes at once to the point that you end up not making a profit. I felt watching the earlier episodes was like being introduced to too many new dishes every week in a restaurant. Just
