Vagabond Episode 7: Flying Back To Morocco To Catch A Living Ghost

This is another flight to Morocco. I have to admit that there's a lot of stuff that caused me to do research such as that a 13+ hour flight will be there and that the water supply isn't so safe either. This would be the mission to capture co-pilot Kim Woo-Gi who is very much alive. This episode has some really thrilling aspects that make you wonder about what's wrong with the system?

I really think sometimes you just got to defy the system if it does bad. Apparently, John & Mark has control of some government sectors resulting in cover-ups. They have Chief Min and yet another mole inside the National Intelligence Services (NIS). Also, I could be wrong about last week's summary when Dal Gun supposedly saw his reporter friend still alive. Later, we have Dynamic Systems' CEO Edward meeting with Dal Gun. Dal Gun may or may have not been mistaken about seeing a person who's supposedly dead to be alive. Edward says that maybe, just maybe Dal Gun could not be wrong in that situation.

Right now, I do get the Toku vibes again with Tae Woong. Tae Woong's actor Shin Sun Rook has a slight resemblance to actor Jun Yamasaki. Yamasaki plays Hojo Toru that smug prick in Kamen Rider Agito. Tae Woong does seem to display similar traits to Hojo in Agito. He's a smug prick who has some brilliant tactics but means well. I thought about the whole issue of how he treats Hae Ri as an errand girl. Personally, I do think Tae Woong does care for Hae Ri to a certain extent. He's probably an anti-hero as far as the show goes. He does use careful methods. I can't blame him especially he's dealing with a hostile spot in the world. What he doesn't realize yet is that Dal Gun has tagged along. Dal Gun is pretty much a brash idiot if you ask me. I'm just reminded of how Jun Masuda as a rookie cop in Super Rescue Solbrain was the butt monkey of sorts for that show. However, Dal Gun is just a failed action star wannabe.

Investigations have had evidence linking Jessica as the mastermind. What scares me to think is that Edward used to go to bed with her. Speaking of which, that reminds me of how Juliette slept with the Old Man of Omni Consumer Products in Robocop 2. It seems to arrive at a full circle as Jessica looks like Reiko in Janperson and Reiko is probably based on Juliette from Robocop 2. The NIS barge in and arrest her without a warrant. Wait, isn't that even illegal? Even if Jessica is the mastermind but isn't there a process to follow? Shouldn't they still assume her innocent until proven guilty? You have to admire how the villain Jessica remains calm all throughout like a professional crook. She has some connections who may break her out of jail. I just hope that she gets wrapped up in the most karmic way possible. Jessica does have some connections in Morocco to make sure that co-pilot Woo Gi is taken care of as soon as possible.

I wonder what is Woo Gi even doing in Morocco living like a caged animal? He has someone buy him tons of mineral water. That place doesn't have any filtration system which I heard is used in Morocco. It's a fate worse than death. His wife gets captured and is tortured by some North Koreans to reveal his location. I wonder what's in it for Woo Gi to be living like a cornered rat in Morocco? Dal Gun ends up running into him and finding his location. I just wonder how this will turn out in the next episode. The excitement is really that crazy!
