The second challenge between HumaGear sales agents and ZAIA Specs is here. This time, it's all about selling real estate. Smile Sumida is a real estate lessor HumaGear pit against Tatsuya Arayashiki a real estate agent who uses ZAIA Specs. The latest challenge is to sell real estate by 1000%.
What I'm finding cliche though is seeing HumaGears getting corrupt and fixed ever since Gai appeared. Smile Sumida gets corrupted and we've got a ZAIA Specs wearer who becomes a monster-of-the-week. Tatsuya does become the Splashing Whale Raider in the quest to defeat Smile. Just who in the world is giving the ZAIA Specs wearers their monster transformation keys? Smile gets corrupted in the first half. Smile then gets repaired in the second half. The idea is to sell the house to a billionaire to get points.
The second half does feature the guest appearance of 77-year old Hirohisa Nakata. Yup, I'm amazed to see the actor still appear here. For all the newbies - Nakata himself had his recurring roles as Emperor Zero in Kamen Rider AMAZON and as Mason in Chodenshi Bioman. He also had a guest role in the seventh episode of Kamen Rider Skyrider. In Gavan, he was also having the role of a magician Doubleman who challenged Tenko the Magician. His other Super Sentai guest roles are an officer in Eagle in Himitsu Sentai Goranger and as Dellinger in Denzi Sentai Denziman. Here, he plays the role of an old man who's recently lost his wife and wants a suitable location where he can be visited by his children and grandchildren. Strangely, Nakata's life is very private though.
I could also see a bit of contrast between Hiden Intelligence and ZAIA in their ideas about innovation. The aim of Hiden Intelligence is to show how HumaGears can prove as valuable assistants to society. ZAIA Specs somehow symbolizes commercialism. Tatsuya may have the power of the ZAIA Specs but it was Smile's more human approach that won the day. Smile well lives up to the name she has been given as a HumaGear. She thought about customer satisfaction is vital in making a long-term profit. ZAIA does somehow represent the evils of commercialized capitalism. Hiden Intelligence shows the importance of capitalism with a conscience. That's one lesson that Tatsuya does learn the hard way after he's reverted back to his human form.
Next week will feature the return of Keisuke Minami as a HumaGear lawyer while Arisa Komiya will be a victim of a marriage scam. I'm just thinking it's quite a fanservice really to see both guest stars from Kyuranger and Go-Busters make an appearance.
