Would Go Hae Ri As Samael Actually Work?!

I really had my fingers crossed for the possibility that Hae Ri would be Samael all along because of the beginning. Does she turn out to be an evil woman beneath her Anime-ish kawaii face? Quite a plot would seem as random as what if Hiroyo Hakase (acted by Maaya Uchida) were the true villain of Akibaranger if you ask me. Though, it may also come out as trying to copy Scream 4's villain Jill Roberts (acted by Emma Roberts) if you ask me.

From the website Bitches Over Dramas - you can see quite a good speculation which I think could've effectively set her up as a Jill Roberts type of character. The short note doesn't dismiss the possibility that her ditzy behavior may just be a cover for a devious mind. I wanted to put that into consideration. If so, it would have been great for Suzy's career if she can pull off a devious minded woman. I'd imagine Suzy Bae as either an Asian Catwoman or Asian Poison Ivy. In her case, she seems to be more Catwoman if you ask me!

Who could remember Scream 4 when Jill was actually another version of Ghost Face all along? She seemed all sweet but she's the main villain of the show! There were quite a few hints that dropped that Hae Ri could be the main antagonist all along. She was using the code name, Elsa. There was a scene of her with a black raincoat. The beginning scene had her coming out of the car. In Scream 4 one can notice that Jill seemed innocent but she was the main villain. Could the same treatment have worked for Hae Ri as it did with Jill? Jill having masterminded a lot of the show's events and maybe Hae Ri too?

If the show wanted to make Hae Ri the villain - there were some parts where it'd be loose if it did. Woo Gi noticed the familiarity of the face of Mikey and not Hae Ri as Michael's girlfriend. Sure, Hae Ri did mention that an autopsy won't' change anything but the progression isn't helping. Also, I think having Jerome act like Charlie did in Scream 4 can work but it wasn't even put into it. I could accept if Suzy Bae decided to become South Korea's version of Jill Roberts, I think she can make a good villain in a slasher thriller BUT I don't think Vagabond would be the best place for it.

If she were the true villain - you could consider how much of the other villains are much older than her. That is, unless, she happens to be a megalomaniac who killed her parents for the fortune and blamed somebody else. That is unless she was spending time as Michael's girlfriend and later stole his assets for herself. That is unless she happens to be a Mensa genius version of Jill Roberts from Scream 4. I think the show could've done it if it slowly built it up with hints that Hae Ri would be the main antagonist. You can consider how Megaman X: Command Mission already had a few hints dropping in that Colonel Redips can't be trusted such as a scene that made it too obvious Botus was killed by the said person or how he has an evil smile while getting the Supra Force Metal. Mirai Sentai Timeranger already started to drop hints later on that Captain Ryuya was truly a douchebag extraordinaire when he arrived in the year 2001 - dropping the bomb that he actually chose to allow events for a reason.

The show didn't even do much with Hae Ri to even consider that. Just think the black raincoat was just a coincidence. Hae Ri was later found on site. Later, Mikey had more hints that she's the one who killed Mikey and not Hae Ri. It would be too weird if suddenly Hae Ri were Samael. Not weird for Park to be Samael but Hae Ri as Samael would just be loads of crack. But I'd still want to see Suzy act as a villain in any future projects!

"Light The Night's" Finale (Spoilers Ahead)

SpikyTV I guess the series just kept us guessing, right? I finally got the chance to finish it after some busy nights. I was right that the killer was HANA (Esther Liu) BUT there's a twist - it was more of voluntary manslaughter than murder. Manslaughter is when one kills out of the heat of passion and that's what Hana did twice in the story. Hana had one against a client who used her and another against Sue after some unfortunate insanity attack. Hana ends up planning to hand herself over but her lover commits murder (towards a character named Chiang An) to protect her.  The whole psychological thriller for me just didn't match up to what I wanted. I guess I was too used to how Victim's Game rolled out. I was expecting some real murder scheme. Instead, it was the anti-climatic manslaughter where Hana decides to hand herself to the authorities after what she did. I really still think that the finale wasn't worth too much of the wait. I was expecting something gran

I Just Finished "My Golden Life"

I finally finished My Golden Life which I was hesitant to watch. 52 one-hour long episodes? I was thinking it was easier to watch the Wuxia series that had 40+ minutes per episode such as Princess Weiyang which was quite long. A lot of episodes of My Golden Life would have a few minutes more depending on the coverage of the episode. So, I'm done and I never thought I'd actually finish it since I'm way too used to short K-Dramas. This one was rather long but it was rather entertaining in many ways. I was thinking about how Shin Hye Sun actually did well with on-screen partner Park Si Hoo. Sometimes, I'd like to joke about how they had a chemistry that looked good and felt good. Looked good? Both aren't attractive and I often joke how Hye Sun's face feels melted or how she was rightfully matched with Lee Jong Suk in Hymn of Death . Hye Sun isn't pretty but she really makes up with her good acting and likability. The same goes for Si Hoo with how he acts out hi

Just Finished "My Glamorous Imperial Concubine" (Some Spoilers)

This is another Wuxia series finished. I was having some expectations broken. The show can be full of spoilers when discussed even further. In fact, some characters are walking spoilers. If you're not ready to be spoiled - DON'T READ. If not, you can read further. I feel the show had some plot twists and turns. Besides, maybe some of the villains in this show weren't as evil as you think.  Emperor Liancheng is an antagonist but dies before the show can end. Liancheng may have some idiotic obsession with Ma Fuya. It becomes even worse when Liancheng's younger sister Liansi and his younger brother Lianxi get involved. Liansi develops a crush on Meng Qiyou and even gets pregnant in the process. It seems that Ma Fuya was pregnant with Liancheng's baby but ends up in Qiyou's household after Liancheng dies. Liancheng dies doing a selfless act to save Ma Fuya. The obsessive empress Ma Xiangyun commits suicide to kill Emperor Liancheng. Emperor Liancheng's quite a
