This Friday's episode with Vagabond has to be rather pretty intense. Last week's Friday episode had Kim Woo Gi the co-pilot finally getting arrested. But the orders from Super Science Network John & Mark is to make sure that he's finally gotten rid of. Side note, I really have to think Kim Woo Gi's actor Jang Hyuk Jin resembles Takeshi Ishikawa who played as Dr. Shiina in Janperson and Garoa in Fiveman. Dr. Shinji happens to be a guest villain in Janperson working with the Super Science Network. Okay, is this getting really freaky we've got some coincidental Toku references? Not really. this episode is pretty intense.
Woo Gi must be kept alive at all costs to testify against John & Mark. Dal Gun even offered his blood for that reason but he's too disgusted to do so. Chief Min, Shadow, the Sleazy Attorney Hong, and Jessica all discuss their next move. It so happens Shadow is working with the government. Jessica has had a habit of murdering her own henchmen. Jerome had already sealed his fate the moment he outlived his usefulness so what makes that stupid Chief Min that he's not disposable? Chief Min is currently running the National Intelligence Service (NIS) and he's usurped the NIS Chief's authority with government authorization. Chief Min though may outlive his usefulness granted how incompetent he really is.
What the NIS agents in Morocco have no idea that the snake Chief Min is now in-charge. Worse, they have no idea that Han-Ki the Secretary of Affairs is really Shadow. They have a new plan which actually reveals something about people. It turns out that Sang Mi the wife of Woo Gi is still after money. Jessica shows how much of a badass villain she is. She psychologically manipulates Sang Mi into cooperating with them. I love how Jessica can act like she's done nothing wrong to hide her true colors. Jessica would use the power of persuasion over the mind of Sang Mi into making her lie. Sang Mi would later admit that Woo Gi is still alive but it was Dynamic Systems who supposedly paid her husband. Wow, talk about a deadly cover-up. I wonder what grudge does Jessica hold against Edward of Dynamic Systems to do what she does? She even imputes her crime towards him in one easy step. I hope she gets her just desserts in the best way possible since she's such a witch!
The plan to ambush heroes at the Korean embassy is at work. Those who are supposedly "back-up" are assassins sent to silence Woo Gi once and for all. Lily is out there still planning the attack but I hope she jumps in. I wonder will we see Lily and Hae Ri duke it out woman to woman? I hope so. It also turns out that the deposed NIS Director has a back-up plan. There's the Bullet Chicken which is undercover. The Bullet Chicken has a codename called "Vagabond" which is the title of the show. I can't help but think of Goranger's curry house which serves as a cover for EAGLE. Tae Woong is later informed of what happens. Tae Woong is however caught in his loyalties between his friends and government. Tae Woong doesn't know what's going on yet. Meanwhile, the assassins are using silencers as they plan to cover-up Jessica's bloody footprints for good.
There's some reckless gun action. The head of the assassin group sent by Chief Min is all set. I love how Dal Gun recklessly punches them up and catches their leader. Somehow, their leader has high confidence that he won't be shot. I also love how Hae Ri takes Woo Gi with him. Everyone is cornered. Tae Woong is just told to stand by and not to pull out the reinforcements who are really assassins. I just can't wait to see what the Saturday episode will give!
