Vagabond Episode 4: It's Vagabond's Drunken Rampage Of An Episode

The episode here seems to be a whole drunken scenario (which has scenes of people drinking their problems away such as Ki Tae Woong (the head of national defense) and Go Hae Ri has one funny scene where she kisses the latter while drunk. I still think it's fortunate that a drunken Hae Ri didn't decide to rape Tae Woong on the spot -- that could just be very wrong! Hae Ri looking a lot like Hiroyo Hakase from Akibaranger Season 1 Episode 3 comes to mind -- except here it's way more dangerous. So really, where's Mitsuki Aoyagi when you need her? Wait, this isn't Akibaranger! Worse, Hae Ri tends to be Hiroyo reimagined as an intelligence agent in ALMOST. EVERY. SCENE. such as when she panics during that gunshot or when she cheers on presumably trying to mask her sadness.

The whole episode is full of dangerous car stunt drive scenes that make it look like he was drunk. I really have to laugh at how Dal Gun is acting like he's drunk at times. The scene at the airport has him screaming like a drunk when he's aware of a potential assault orchestrated by Lily. You can think of the later scenes where he's demanding Go Hwa Sook (whose actress Hwang Bo Ra was in What's Wrong with Secretary Kim) drive and chase that car like a stuntman would -- who in the right mind would do that?! I wonder did Dal Gun drink so heavily because he was a failed action director? Also, the scene where Dal Gun sees a murder and he's treated like he's drunk. However, the scene of the crime was cleaned up so easily and the CCTV cameras were tampered with. That alone makes a rather unbelievable story even when it happened. Dal Gun sounds like he's drunk a lot of liquor too.

Dal Gun acts like he's high almost all the time. He even tries to convince the victims it's a terrorist attack but fails because he sounds like he's drunk. I don't blame the fat guy for acting the way he did. I'd probably dismiss Dal Gun as mad because he just can't calm down. I don't blame Dal Gun for acting the way he does. He's got one stupid sister-in-law who left his nephew Hoon at the orphanage. His sister-in-law only calls because of the possible compensation. What kind of a mother is that? She seems to care more about money than the son she's lost through the plane crash!

There's more incriminating evidence. The murder scene of the journalist was a bloody one. I really had chills down my spines watching that scene. The journalist dies giving a USB drive to Dal Gun. The USB drive contains incriminating evidence that may prove that the plane crash was indeed a TERRORIST ATTACK. Hae Ri prepares the report but her really idiotic superior at National Intelligence Service (NIS) Min Sik just DISMISSES the investigation because of "insufficient evidence". Is 211 victims really just a number to that guy? Hopefully, Hae Ri will stop thinking about her promotion and focus on getting on with justice! Worse, it's ordered by the director who I suspect is Minister Park Man Young. If you remembered, Minister Park has been blackmailed by Super Science Network's ahem Johnson & Mark's president, Jessica. Jessica is a scheming bitch who'd do anything for power. I think this will be interesting to see that maybe, just maybe Min Sik like Dr. Kim is in cahoots with Johnson & Mark because he refuses to have the investigation held.

There's a bit of a backstory with Jessica. Edward Park of Dynamic Systems reveal that he used to work with Jessica but had no idea (until later) that she was that corrupt. I'm just reminded of the final episodes in Janperson concerning Super Science Network -- Reiko Ayanokouji used to work under someone but she turned out corrupt and twisted. Edward seems to fit almost the same paper as someone who Reiko betrayed in Janperson in her finale arc. Jessica appears to be a philanthropist, she's seen attending a children's event and giving money to a hospital. What the public doesn't realize is that she's responsible for the death of innocent children going to Morocco. I really suspect he has connections inside the hotel where the murder happened. Overall, she's a very shrewd crook that you can't underestimate!

I really have to love the scene where Lily even jams a car's signals and prevents it from breaking. What device are they using? Does it even exist? It's almost like Johnson & Mark has a lot of devices found only in superhero shows. I nearly had a heart attack in this scene. Car wreck, car flying, and then a very ANGRY Dal Gun wanting to confront Jessica. Jessica just came out of her playwright where she pretends to be a friend to children when she isn't. I wonder what will Dal Gun do now he's face to face with Jessica?
