Right Time, Right Person

Episode 13 of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim tries to focus on the pacing of two characters. All the revelation pours in too fast -- Mi Soo discovers that her childhood love is none other than her boss Yong Jun. Yong Jun's always had a crush on her for nine years straight during the time she was his secretary. Yong Jun was always looking for her for all those years since he was a child and he found her nine years ago -- all the while suppressing the kidnapping incident from his mind and causing himself and his older brother Seong Yun to have that unnecessary sibling rivalry going on for years.

So how's it going as far as the relationship is progressing? Granted, we only have this week and next week to finish the show so the story must be wrapped up As Soon As Possible, right unlike those idiotic teleseryes from the Philippines, right? Three more episodes and we're done so there's no room to slow down the pace especially that Mi Soo is not getting any younger, is she? If she wants to have a family then now's time. Marrying Yong Jun and having children with him should be the top priority. I mean, Yong Jun's parents are accepting of the relationship considering that she's a professional ranking employee in their company, right? The intensity is getting bigger. I don't think I could wait to tie the knot if I were Yong Jun -- especially that Mi Soo is not getting any younger!

There's the scene of Mi Soo's injured father. Family matters can be complicated if you ask me. The sisters have started to accept Yong Jun as Mi Soo's boyfriend. But does the father of Mi Soo know about the romantic relationship? How will he react if he knows his daughter is dating her boss of all people? I was thinking will the whole family be accepting? I'm just expecting a bit of a scene where some middle class people don't like the idea of dating richer guys. As said, some richer guys may be dating lower class girls for fun and not for a serious relationship. If that's the case then how will Yong Jun prove that he's serious with Mi Soo?

A possible romantic sideline is with the other Secretary Kim -- Kim Ji-Ah and her possible romantic interest with the extremely frugal Gwi Nam. It's revealed that Gwi Nam grew up really poor and started to work hard to get high grades and a high paying job. Yet, he's still too frugal that he lives on the rooftop of the same apartment as Ji Ah which is FUNNY. I wonder, how did he survive all those years with all the rain and snow if he lived on the rooftop? The show remains ambiguous on that. Is it meant for a joke or a slapstick? What's amazing is that Gwi Nam had saved up to USD 100,000.00 (according to the subs anyway) which should be equivalent to 113,608,000.00 won (note that Won is highly depreciated) since one USD is equivalent to 1136.08 Korean won. I hope that Ji-Ah will try to pull Gwi Nam out of his extreme frugality as they have a deeper relationship.

TBH, I can't wait for tomorrow's third to the last episode and for next week's two part finale. It's getting more intense if you ask me!
