I remembered rambling on the issue of the thickening plot of Evolt as well as Nanba Enterprises. It looks like we've got a lesson to learn. When something that's more powerful than you are offers you his or her services -- he or she may only be using you. This reminds me of how Long in Gekiranger pretended to serve Rio and Mele but he was only after his own interest.
The same happened to the greedy Chairman Nanba. He effectively took over as the recurring villain from Faust, he took away Prime Minister Nido's position and this was all allowed by Evolt. Evolt as Blood Stark pretended to serve Chairman Nanba. Chairman Nanba was indeed a fool to believe that he could get the loyalty of someome -- especially if that someone is almost like someone that seemingly sprang out from the Doom video game series! Would you want to even have an alliance with someone like the Icon of Sin from the second game? I wouldn't dare do it but Chairman Nanba himself foolishly made that deal.
It's not too surprising that the old fool Chairman Nanba gets betrayed by Evolt. Why would an extremely powerful entity like Evolt want to take orders from a senile old man? It's like a Faustian pact -- the Devil agrees to serve you first but he will demand a price when the contract is over. Evolt now wants to use Chairman Nanba as a puppet prime minister of Seito. However, Chairman Nanba doesn't want to and later -- the same crazy old man finds himself trembling in fear! He wants his life spared and he doesn't get it.
More importantly, you've got Utsumi who was once Chairman Nanba's trusted associate become Evolt's latest creation -- Kamen Rider Mad Rogue! By just looking at the carnage caused by this guy and how he ended up exploiting Takumi's/Sento's Kamen Rider system for his own advantage is just plain despicable. Now he's unleashed a new foe that could potentially be more trouble. Plus, I wonder what will Evolt do next in order to finally compete the Pandora's Tower? Things are getting pretty intense if you ask me!
