My Screwed Up Imagined Sequel For Gu Family Book

Kang Chi's tale in the past ends in tragedy. I decided to take a look at the epilogue which takes place centuries AFTER the series ends. So I decided to create an imaginary timeline and two shows that are totally different namely Tokkei Solbrain and Akibaranger to create this rather screwed up sequel on high doses of crack. So here's how the events turn out in my headcanon which is obviously not canon and will actually contradict the events of Akibaranger and Solbrain?

Unwilling to suffer any longer as he roams the Earth -- Kang Chi seeks to be reincarnated as a human at the cost of his Korean heritage. He tries to do penance, hoping to remove his demon blood and he manages to die of unknown causes. He's later reincarnated into the Masuda family where he later gets a job as a police officer. Solbrain later disbands but memories of his past life soon start to reactivate into his head. In the year 2001, Kang Chi is now a rookie police officer. In the Year 2002, he becomes a high ranking officer after Solbrain disbands.

On the other side of the fence, the very dead Yeo Wool finally reincarnates into Hiroyo Hakase. Instead of becoming a police officer in her next life like in the cracked up finale -- she becomes a Toku-obsessed chick. She has no memory of her past life as a badass lady. She is also reborn as a Japanese with no memories of her past life being Korean.

The events start to go together when Jun discovers a Korean relic in relation with the Gumiho. His past comes back to him bringing in memories. He meets the very dead Akibarangers' ghosts (who died in the final episode thanks to Nobuo Akagi's stupidity) and also discovers that his beloved Yeo Wool was reincarnated into the Akibarangers' team mentor.

Hiroyo can be seen mourning for the Akibarangers then her past memories and how she died as Yeo Wool come back to her after many centuries. The police officer she runs into is actually Kang Chi's reincarnation and she feels mysterious drawn to him. She tries to forget about the Akibarangers who have died in a rather ridiculous way. Memories of a past life causes Jun to fall for Hiroyo as they were once lovers in a past life. However, they are reborn with now a ten year age gap which becomes a May-December affair as a result. Jun is a 30ish bachelor police officer while Hiroyo is a hapless girl in her 20s.

My idea is because Lee Seung Gi resembles Hidenori Iura who played as Tatsuya in Goggle V, Shunichi/Prince in Bioman and Jun Masuda in Solbrain. Okay, Lee Seung Gi is 18 years younger than Iura. Suzy Bae resembles Maaya Uchida. This would be difficult to do in real life unless both Suzy and Seung Gi can speak Japanese and the Akibarangers are willing to return to the land of the living for this sequel. As part of the plot, Hatte Saburo has the Gumiho past of Jun revive the Akibarangers much to Hiroyo's delight.

In this new plot, can Jun and Hiroyo fulfill the love that they weren't able to fulfill or are they destined to feel the same tragedy all over again?

"Light The Night's" Finale (Spoilers Ahead)

SpikyTV I guess the series just kept us guessing, right? I finally got the chance to finish it after some busy nights. I was right that the killer was HANA (Esther Liu) BUT there's a twist - it was more of voluntary manslaughter than murder. Manslaughter is when one kills out of the heat of passion and that's what Hana did twice in the story. Hana had one against a client who used her and another against Sue after some unfortunate insanity attack. Hana ends up planning to hand herself over but her lover commits murder (towards a character named Chiang An) to protect her.  The whole psychological thriller for me just didn't match up to what I wanted. I guess I was too used to how Victim's Game rolled out. I was expecting some real murder scheme. Instead, it was the anti-climatic manslaughter where Hana decides to hand herself to the authorities after what she did. I really still think that the finale wasn't worth too much of the wait. I was expecting something gran

I Just Finished "My Golden Life"

I finally finished My Golden Life which I was hesitant to watch. 52 one-hour long episodes? I was thinking it was easier to watch the Wuxia series that had 40+ minutes per episode such as Princess Weiyang which was quite long. A lot of episodes of My Golden Life would have a few minutes more depending on the coverage of the episode. So, I'm done and I never thought I'd actually finish it since I'm way too used to short K-Dramas. This one was rather long but it was rather entertaining in many ways. I was thinking about how Shin Hye Sun actually did well with on-screen partner Park Si Hoo. Sometimes, I'd like to joke about how they had a chemistry that looked good and felt good. Looked good? Both aren't attractive and I often joke how Hye Sun's face feels melted or how she was rightfully matched with Lee Jong Suk in Hymn of Death . Hye Sun isn't pretty but she really makes up with her good acting and likability. The same goes for Si Hoo with how he acts out hi

Just Finished "My Glamorous Imperial Concubine" (Some Spoilers)

This is another Wuxia series finished. I was having some expectations broken. The show can be full of spoilers when discussed even further. In fact, some characters are walking spoilers. If you're not ready to be spoiled - DON'T READ. If not, you can read further. I feel the show had some plot twists and turns. Besides, maybe some of the villains in this show weren't as evil as you think.  Emperor Liancheng is an antagonist but dies before the show can end. Liancheng may have some idiotic obsession with Ma Fuya. It becomes even worse when Liancheng's younger sister Liansi and his younger brother Lianxi get involved. Liansi develops a crush on Meng Qiyou and even gets pregnant in the process. It seems that Ma Fuya was pregnant with Liancheng's baby but ends up in Qiyou's household after Liancheng dies. Liancheng dies doing a selfless act to save Ma Fuya. The obsessive empress Ma Xiangyun commits suicide to kill Emperor Liancheng. Emperor Liancheng's quite a
